JOB SUMMARY : This marketing role combines creativity, detailed analysis and commercial astuteness to design a solid marketing strategy that places The MAINE Mayfair’s customers at its heart. Creating an in-house position for this role helps provide clear and consistent direction for The MAINE Mayfair’s marketing, ensuring that all activity is designed with purpose to deliver results. To define and continually develop The MAINE Mayfair’s marketing strategy, leading and supporting the marketing team and external suppliers to deliver excellence in all areas of marketing and events.

RESPONSIBILITIES : • Checkl Full overall responsibility for the marketing department and all marketing activities • Coordinate external agency PR activities and measure ROI • Supply assets to PR agency as and when required • Liaise with in house management for interview timings with media and key meetings • Data collect and oversee The Maine database and requisite mailings • Show venue for potential events • Submit quotes for events and secure events • Source and secure professional freelance photographer(s) hired as required on a day-rate basis. • Define and lead The MAINE Mayfair’s brand and marketing strategies, utilising analytical tools and data to help guide strategy and activity • Prepare and deliver The MAINE Mayfair’s marketing plan • Coordinate key campaigns, projects and menu launches • Develop, assign and manage the departmental budget to determine key focus areas and investment levels • Manage all agency/supplier contracts and reviews, ensuring value for the business at all times • Manage all team members, ensuring their continuous development supports business priorities • Work cross-functionally with department leaders to define business strategy • Act as the brand guardian, embedding the brand proposition internally as well as externally • Produce clear and timely communications for The MAINE Mayfair’s internal teams • Produce regular reports for all channels, providing evaluation and analytics for future campaigns, making recommendations to improve performance and ROI • Carry out industry, market and competitor research in order to identify trends and opportunities for innovation and growth • Manage The MAINE Mayfair’s online reputation and crisis communications by responding to online reviews • Define and lead The MAINE Mayfair’s corporate social responsibility agenda to position the brand as a sustainable and ethical business • Interface with Digital Agency on the development and upkeep of the MAINE Mayfair website • Work with the internal marketing team to drive optimum results for The MAINE Mayfair across 3rdparty platforms. • Includes booking sites, partner channels, CRM and social media management platforms, online gift cards, delivery/ click & collect partners, local associations, wifi data collection and music platforms, apps. • Manage and oversee the design all creative assets (digital and print) for The MAINE Mayfair, including: campaign materials, email newsletters, menus, signage, advertising, event materials, packaging • Own the production process to ensure quality and timely delivery of assets • Set artwork to print and manage the print process with printers • Source quotes and liaise with suppliers on design projects • Ensure that all creative assets are securely and methodically stored on the internal team’s storage system, enabling quick identification and access when required • Oversee the calendar of content to span multiple channels, planning content in a way that provides consistency and context to The MAINE Mayfair’s communications • Design activity to utilise The New England Brasserie’s loyal customer base in Dubai to spread the word about the group’s latest opening • Set up and attend regular cross-departmental meetings to ensure a collaborative approach to launch and agreement on launch priorities • Design, print and deliver menus and launch materials • Produce documentation that clearly explains The MAINE Mayfair concept to internal teams in a way that is accessible and relevant to their role, helping them to see the part they play in supporting the brand vision • Identify, appraise and hire external agencies and suppliers • Recommend, select and set up digital tools and platforms
